Extra Map Symbols

描述
Extra Map Symbols

- adds additional map symbols following base game style
- adds symbols variants to base game symbols (requires Extra Map Symbols UI)
- replaces angled arrows with own version, aligned to roads
- replaces "KnifeFork" with own version
- replaces "Wrench" with own version

Extra Map Symbols UI

Map symbols interface tweaks.
- allows to change number of columns used for symbols
- allows to change size of symbols/text
- allows to use crayons for adding symbols to maps
- allows to add symbols variants
- slightly resizes and repositions ui elements

External mods support:
- custom events for smoother integration with external mods


Note that while both mods are independent (for now), and do not require each other, some of features are not available if only one mod is enabled. In future, mods will be merged into single one

Requires PZ v41.66+

One of the reasons this mod sometimes doesn't work (in case anyone wondered) in multiplayer, is because it goes into an infinite download loop on the initialization screen.

Single player seems to be fine.

Using build 41.

I made a version of EMS that has the function fixed. Might fix some problems for you but should at least allow you to use Share Map Symbols mod again. Use at own risk.

I suspect a reason this works so bad with other mods that modifies the map is because it has a destructive "function ISWorldMapSymbols:prerender()" that doesn't allow for other mods to do their modifications correctly.

Not sure if this also affects base game functionality, but might do.

@mp17wd You probably have issues on your end with other things, as this mod should still work even brought into an existing save, as it's working on my own world. Even did a test, took it out loaded the world, exited, put the mod back in, loaded, and it worked fine. There are only a few of them in total, so it might appear that they aren't loading, as they do appear very, very close to what vanilla is.

@Flammable Tempted to do that as well. I have no idea specifically *why* the square bug happens, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with leaving, then rejoining and it's trying to load alternate vanilla symbols and fails as the regular symbols load just fine, so I just personally went and removed that ability from each one so it should load only vanilla symbols then the modded ones. Seems to have fixed the issue, as it hasn't happened again. after load/restarting the game at least 4 times each.
