OK I just saw @hub's run my experience is very much a broken BSP map file.

Broken, picking up portal gun when one already has a portal gun in hand, while playing autoportal puzzle with interfering portal guns? Since it is not Hammer the sets interfere with each other, maybe I should restart see if that fixes map to what it suppose to be.
