Star Trek: Delta Flyer

描述
This is the Delta Flyer from Star Trek: Voyager. It was the Shuttle The crew built in the Delta Quadrant, with Borg enhancements. It is fully featured with weapons, shields, and a hyperdrive. IF you like it, please like and subscribe.

After Completing Voyager, I was hesitant to make a Delta Flyer as I wasn't sure I could make one that would fit in the shuttle bay, but as Voyager is leaving Netflix in the beginning of 2022, I've had a renewed interest, and came up with something that works. Ironically, it isn't much bigger than my Type-8 shuttle, yet features a hyperdrive and shields.

That said, the inclusion of a hyperdrive (and the space that took) did have a few drawbacks:
1) It is not as fast as some of my other ships
2) It does not carry a lot of fuel
3) The aft section is pretty tight, with the entrances to both the ship and the cockpit being just over 1 block wide. As a result, when landing on a planet, the ship's roll must be close to zero: that means you can land on a slope, but it must be pitched forward or back, the side to side must be level or ou won't fit through the doorway. This is true for most SV's using doors, however, it is more severe in this ship than most.

Finally, I wanted to make a special thanks to Scimitar. I used his model as reference to solve a couple issues and make some texture choices. His Delta Flyer can be found here:

Ps: any chance you have a Hull only version of voyager. Friend of mine like to reinterior design but she's not so good flying due to disability and bad hands. Tyvm

@Dark Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. It definitely is a tight fit, as I really did design it mainly to fit in the smaller doors of my Voyager... which is why I refit my Prometheus to allow for bigger ships. That said, it was a miracle I got everything in there at that size... was a fun challenge.

Wow, I love this. Would be my First Choice for any Shuttle to Explore a system before taking in my CV, Very Very good job,
I must say tho would be good to have a bit more room within like Scimitars Version.
Because while was a shuttle it was also very Large with Bio Beds and bunks.
While i know you Cant inc them due to them blocks being for BA/CV would be Nice to Have the extra room :)
- If you have no Objections I would like to *Bridge The Gap on both versions*
- Since i Stream most my building in Creative i would ask Permission Before editing as people do ask for Copies. Ofcorse i would link back to here. and i would ask Scimitar for the same

After playing a fresh Vanilla play through in 1.10, it occurred to me... ALL my Capital Ships are too large for one person to run around... So I made a smaller one, and the Flyer still fits! Go check it out!

Not yet. Mainly been updating Prometheus and Voyager with quality of life improvements. Still undecided on what the next build is.

Whohoo - what a fine ship. At that scale it looks really good. every block wisely used and still achieved detail level. Well done. Now what comes next? Are you busy with something new?
