(SP/COOP) The Dark Place HD/Темное Место HD is my remake of the 170191Nikolay's Serious Sam Classic The Second Encounter mod

i have thought that the mod was interesting but it was held back by worst balance i have ever seen. The main reason why i call this a remake is because unlike my other ports, it is being remade from scratch

KNOWN ISSUES: In the first level. If you save the game after the ghost and the bars appear and load the game, they wont disappear. a solution is to save the game before you activate the ghost and bars
Mordekai's model always plays even if you dont see it

This remake has changes:
- Removed cheap jump scares
- Reworked the balance so it would be good
- Added 4 secrets
- Supports Russian, French, Italian, German, Spanish languages.
- Remade the sewer area and last area of the 2nd level

I tried to complete the first map but for some reason the grate wont reopen, it just stays closed even though I played as intended. I was playing on multiplayer for further information.

ENG. Excellent The port of the mod-mappack-remake, which I went through in one breath and the link to get acquainted with the original mod for the Classics https://www.serioussite.ru/load/temnoe_mesto/16-1-0-531 , is here and immediately I say very difficult and unbalanced, compared to the port, but still orig. the mod is also good and the author tried, my jaw dropped when I met with Ugh-Zan 3 and Mordecai again (two final bosses from two Encounters - Like two fingers!). The differences are noticeable and, of course, this is a remake, even if the story is the same, as well as weapons ONLY from Sam 4 (oh, the author took away the chainsaw and the flamer, oh well)

В кооперативе играть просто невозможно. Паркур кривой, а этот белый призрак не даёт тебе пройти дальше, если ты не прошёл момент с ловушками и пропастями в подземелье с первого раза:steamthumbsdown:

https://youtu.be/IezhDoUHyMA It's not a Serious 100% run, just my first impressions playing it. Check out the vid description for detailed thoughts but the short version is I'm happy with how the port turned out. The pacing feels good, the combat is good, and the only complaint I can think of are the bosses are a bit weak and it's pretty easy in some parts.

I had a lot of fun with it though, great work!
