(2 - 4) Convoy

A Soviet convoy meets the leading elements of a German Panzer group going the other way down the road. The heavy rain and stormy conditions made radio contact with headquarters hard and neither side knew each was coming. They meet at a small Soviet Checkpoint and a feirce tank battle broke out neither side emerging victorious with heavy tank losses on each side. The russian commander thought they were losing and ordered the nearby artilery to bombard the area. The artilery aimed at the flashes and turned the area into a firestorm. A passing group of German stukas saw the gun and since their previous mission had been cancelled they destroyed them. They have hastily made foward bases and are each tasked with breaking through their enemies line fighting in muddy terrain with tank skeletons all around.
