Introducing Day Number 24, the ‘Winter Retreat’

”Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the Home, not a creature was stirring, not even a Drone…

Engineers were tucked in, fast asleep, waiting for his arrival. Fires had been dimmed, Christmas lights left on, and a glass of Clang Cola presented as tribute. All was silent, all was it peace - from the peaks of Triton, to the trenches of Pertam.

No drawn out wars could quell the feeling in the air, not tonight. The sound of echoing carols lit the great black sea ablaze, in a fire of excitement, and hope for better years to come. The festivities would span across light-years of time if the universe could allow it…

All were hopeful, but for different reasons; some for new gifts, some for a kinder future, and some for the end of wars. Regardless of their reasons, one thing united them. Their common humanity and their desire to leave the world in a better place than they found it. “

Overall these ships have been so much fun to plan and bring to life. I wish I could go back to day 1 and release this collection all over again. I hope these daily ships have brought a little joy into someone's day, and I thank all those who viewed this event, subscribed, commented or awarded us.
