A Penal World is a class of Imperial world that functions as a military prison planet. A single such world's population consists entirely of criminals drawn from hundreds of different worlds, the guards that keep them there, and any luckless denizen unfortunate enough to have been born there.

Designer Note (OPTIONAL): This map was designed to be played with the Theatre of War: Heliotyr Penal Compound rules from Flashpoint Alumax from White Dwarf Issue 461. The rules associated with the Theatre of War are in the screenshots and in the actual map bundle itself.

Instructions for Background and Lighting (OPTIONAL)
1.) Click "Games" on top interface menu
2.) Click "Workshop" tab
3.) Find tab for "FTC 40k Penal Colony - Combat Patrol/Incursion 44x30"
4.) Hover over tab to bring up "Options" and click
5.) Click "Search"
6.) Click "Custom Background"
7.) Click "Custom Lighting"

Don't like the lighting? Bring back the default by: Options ---> Lighting ---> Reset
