Japan Government Railway 4-6-2 Class C59, 4-6-4 Class C60 Steam Locomotive

-----Breif history of Steam Locomotives class C59, C60-----

3-cylinder locomotive; class C53 was strong, but had heavy problems on maintenance.
So they became old, the locomotive that were easily use was needed.
Class C59 was developed to satisfy those needs.
They were ordinary 2-cylinder locomotive, but kept specs the same or over, by the developed mechanics.
That had some problems, but they were very reliable, so they were used to royal train, despite follower locomotives were built.
They were used to limited express, but soon WWII were occured. And after war, more powerful locomotive; class C62 was developed.
So C59 was unlucky locomotive.
Some of C59s add a trailing wheel and became class C60, and were used to low grade lines.
A few of them were preserved.
