Japan Government Railway 4-6-2 Class C54 Steam Locomotive

-----Breif history of Steam Locomotives class C54-----

Exchanging of excellent locomotive; C51 was very difficult.
Because of need for light and powerful locomotive, class C54 was developed in 1931,
basic spec was same and weight was decreased.
However, too decreasing weight caused slipping and wrong operate, C54 was thinked failure.
Soon next class, class C54, was developed, so they existed only 17 cars.

No preserved cars remain.
