I think this must have been bad luck or a hardware problem. I only use two save files and I haven't had any trouble with corruption.

Never ran into this issue. I'll keep an eye open for it.

Read my review . I don't have to charge back, I refunded it in 1.1 hr of testing it.

I don't waste money. Most of these old games, I have played when they were released. There's a reason why I usually avoid repurchasing, because I used to own them on discs.. except console ones like this (BG Alliance was panned when it was released, now I can see why).

yeah, i used 1 save and after about 60 overwrites it just keeps the corrupted save and deletes the old one, not allowing for anymore saves, leaving me with no way of saving my character. gotta say, ruined the experience for me.

See, a proper port job where developers gave a sh*t would rename something like this or just not make them visible.

But for that, they'll need to make an actual effort instead of trying to earn money from something that was created 20 years ago, for another platform.

The fact that they can't even be arsed with fixing this "issue", says a lot.

It seems when you create an overwrite, it just moves the previous to a "trash bin" and calls them damaged saves. they disappear after reloading the game for a later play session.

Are you actually trying to make excuses for a broken PC port of a 20 year old game by a publisher trying to ask (almost) same price as the recent HALO Masterchief collection?

you mean if you don't mind creating a new save each time you save. minor inconvenience. damaged saves seem to be gone when you start a new session later.
