cHUDpentance Lite

Adds color to Isaac's many interfaces. If you can't tell what items you picked up, what the dream catcher has revealed, or what exactly killed you, then cHUDpentance Lite will help! This version only colors the "death item/enemy/boss" sprites.

Countless sprites have undergone significant changes either to accommodate their new colors and/or better resemble the in-game version for clarity's sake.

Support for Fiend Folio and Revelations are planned (and well under way). Other mod supports will happen eventually.

Sorry, I'm done with Isaac modding for the foreseeable future. Consider this mod cancelled (still works afaik for vanilla repentance), but here's an unlisted mod with the work I completed for the main version update (includes more ambitious ui coloring and changes. It's broken and unfinished, just if anyone wants to make a continuation of chudpentance please feel free). Deathnotes folder is Revelations items support, is mostly complete and functional: Here at this link.


The full version of cHUDpentance is still in the works, and in addition to what's featured here, it will contain:

• A great deal of polish since the Afterbirth+ iteration.
  
  
• Fully colored prologue, epilogue, and final cutscenes.
  
  
• Character select with all characters and many UI elements colored in.
  
  
• An endings menu with informative coloring and added icons to help you find what you're looking for.
  
  
• All save drawings colored in.
  
  
• Full support with my Accurate Character Select mod(s) and eyeguy's Character Portraits. It will no longer be active by default, and you will have to enable it manually.

Roadmap
1. Finish cHUDpentance (main version)
2. Color the bestiary for Revelations (the sprites have existed since AB+ in the files, they're just unused due to API limitations)
3. Polish modded sprites
4. Support for Rev/FF updates if they're out by the time I've done the above (will likely prioritize this over polish)
5. Consider other mod supports if I'm not sick and tired of this project by then

It started here[moddingofisaac.com] and the same user continues to work on it to this day but I felt it clashed with the "Isaac style" a bit too much, hence the creation of this mod. Regardless, I greatly appreciate the work they did, and it was an invaluable starting point and inspiration for cHUDpentance.
