Shieldwall Battle Mod by Fight Club

描述
Join here the: Shieldwall Fight Club[discord.gg]! We play ToB multiplayer battles and scenarios with Shieldwall Mod and you are welcome!

Load order for MP compatability:
1. Shieldwall Battle Mod
2. Shieldwall Overhaul: + THE POPULATION UPDATE
3. Shieldwall Overhaul: Authentic Names

For scenarios we play additional Fight Club Scenarios on top.

Recommended rules for field battles:
- max. 4 Cav. (General not included, Mounted Skirmishers are Cav.)
- max. 4 foot distance units (Skirmishers, Bowmen, Crossbows and Slingers)
- no Artillery
- max. 1 Berserker (all units with berserk ability)
- funds 3000

Changes:
- Circenn & Jórvík are playable in mp & custom battles
- Reworked stats (display)
- Intro get skipped
- Fresisk Soldia (Frisian Mercenaries) & Holomenn got the right unit class
- Naval units got also stats display
- Naval units having costs of 10.000 each unit are removed (when recommended load order)
- 3 further factions are playable (for better scenarios and a better overview when 2 players want to play the same unit grouping):
Ailigh = Mide
Teyrnllwg (Powis) = Gwined
Cumbra = Ystrad Clud

Hints:
The mod is designed for custom and mp battles. It does not affect the mechanics of Shieldwall, nor does it change prices or unit stats!

Please support all mods you use with a "Thumbs Up"! It is extremely frustrating for all modders that there are usual subscriber/like rates about 1-4%. We spend so much time to keep Thrones of Britannia interesting, so a bit attention for all the hard work would be nice.

Does this work in a coop multiplayer campaign?

@Loramski - many thanks, but the mod is not made to to take influence on campaign gameplay. It adds some factions for custom and mp battles, and there you play Circenn & Jórvík Separatists as Circenn & Jórvík. If you use the mod in campaign both factions have same colours and names as their separatists and you get the improved stats display in battles. Cheers

There's a lot to like about this mod but one thing that needs fixing is when a faction can be reduced to one minor settlement and 1 unit and can then take another minor settlement with that one unit and then bounce back with a 12 stack with multiple professional units in significant numbers. Game breaking early on in the game unfortunately.
