Does this still work? I can set up the board but there seems to be no way to capture any pieces, they just land on whatever field I try to take.

how can I prevent player 2 from peeking at my pieces? or at least how can I know IF he's peeking?

Thanks for this mod. It's very well done.

There was a game in the late 90s called "Stealth Chess" [boardgamegeek.com] that basically took the Stratego model and applied it to Chess. (In fact, the pieces are almost identical to Stratego pieces at the time.) Is there any way to use the base of these models to make chess pieces? That would be pretty awesome!

I've now created a group for TTS Stratego players, if its a success members could play Learz's mod at Stratego gaming hour events and in group tournaments.

Stratego can be played on the Nintendo DS and 3DS with this Nintendo DS game: http://www.nintendo.com.au/catalogue/clubhouse-games , you have to unlock Stratego by playing the single player mode, this DS version is called "Field Tactics".
