Exactly what it says.

There is no generic icon for Modern Tanks and Superheavy Tanks in the new NSB designer. So if you play a minor country and manage to research them, you'll be rewarded with an ugly turret-less icon.

Well, no more!

Polish tank icons (they have rather generic design) are used for high-tech armor, and majors whose unique sprites were for some reason left unused in vanilla are now also enabled.

Another thing that was changed is that game is now slightly smarter when auto-selecting icon for default tanks and planes, so you'll be less likely to see a brand new 1944 design use a Great War era biplane,

I don't have the DLC and I have this problem, but I can't use this mod because you locked it behind the DLC. Please change that so I can use it.

nice .. exactly what i was looking for but i dont have the DLC and the same problem. cant use this since you locked it behind having the dam dlc. cheers for fixing basic shit pdx fucks up

@Zockopa works fine on my end, just tested it as Germany. You might have a conflicting mod enabled. That or mod somehow failed to update, if that's the case, try to unsubscribe, open launcher, close it, and then subscribe again.

Well,as germany. Anyway imho many mods are seriously f`ed up since BBA and the series
of patches afterwards. My whole personal mod composition worked just fine before but would
just crash the game on startup with the initial 1.12 patch.
Meanwhile many mods were updated, which somehow forced me to buy the DLC, in order
to be able to play again..... However,modern tanks are still turrettless....

BBA slightly changed the internal working of the icon system, so I updated the mod.
