描述

-----Breif history of Steam Locomotives Class C62-----

After war, locomotives for freight use were excessed very much.
And building the new locomotives was stopped.
So, decided to make locomotives using these boilers.
In these locomotives, class C62 was the one of used boiler of class D52.
Used maximum power boiler in Japan, became the maximum power locomotive for passenger.
These locomotives worked the last days of Japanese steam locomotives as the star, these are very famous though the preserved cars are few.

Curious if you plan to fix the top speed? This locomotive retains the steam speed record on narrow gauge track. It hit 129 Km/h on the Tokaido Main Line in 1954.
