Then it may be that the pistol you are trying to put the IR laser on doesn't have a slot for flashlight attachments. I just tested with ACE again, and the IR laser shows up for all vanilla weapons that can fit a flashlight. Not all sidearms are set up to equip attachments.
It works fine in ACE3 - proof being that ACE is loaded in the above screenshot example. I just haven't implemented the ACE "visible laser pointer" option.
Pushed an update that should have fixed it, let me know if there are any more errors or issues
Thanks mate, I missed that bug. I'll try to fix it, unfortunately my computer is being a bit unreliable right now and editing mods etc is quite difficult to do (I keep getting freezes and restarts randomly when editing the config.cpp files and packaging the mods etc, leading to loss of work and general frustration) so fingers crossed I can get a fix out at some point...
