(Ironically, I didn't even knew yew trees had berries until I just now googled it. Never seen such odd berries.)
And you posted this not long after I had the same conversation elsewhere online and I was like "Wow! Here too?"
But still I've seen Christmas Specials with "kiss under the mistletoe" scenes with holly instead of mistletoe and it's like how did they mess that up? So I don't blame you if it's such scenes that confused you as well. I know I sound like a peeve over it but I don't mean to come off as rude.
HOLLY = Red berries, spikey thorn-like leaves.
Can't believe how many people get confused between the two... and why I likely sound like a snobby asshole every time I point it out.
