Railway 2 is a brand new network package which is packed with numerous new features, while maintaining the existing features of original Railway 1 project. It also brings new types of networks such as quads and mainlines. Check Railway 2 Guide in the collection, linked above.

Hell Gate
The Hell Gate Bridge, originally the New York Connecting Railroad Bridge or the East River Arch Bridge, is a 1,017-foot (310 m) steel through arch railroad bridge in New York City. Originally built for four tracks, the bridge currently carries two tracks of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor and one freight track across the Hell Gate, a strait of the East River, between Astoria in Queens, and Randalls and Wards Islands in Manhattan.

Hell Gate for Cities: Skylines is the result of a collaboration between me and Armesto. I handled steel structure of the bridge complex, and Armesto handled the stonework; pillars and bridge tower, as well as the color correction of variants.

This is the third variant of Hell Gate Complexes. This version is a fictional black variant that includes the bridge section and the viaduct. The shade is consistent with Ohio bridges and black girders I previously published.



  • Pack of 2 networks:
  • Viaduct network: Contains the ground abutment and node switches with other networks. Elevated, nodeless viaduct network.
  • Bridge network: Contains the main arch on bridge prefab and transition networks on elevated prefab.
  • Uses the power of Adaptive Roads for in-game customization.
  • Part of Railway 2: USA expansion, that features accurate rail profile, 1:1 scaled wire height and many more features.


All Hell Gate networks recycle textures and materials between each other. Pillars also have shared texture and material properties for optimization.


Comes as electrified networks. Use Network Skins to disable wires on-dragging, or Catenary Replacer to cancel wires map-wide. Part of RAILWAY project, thus requires Railway Replacer to customize track props.

Are there any R2USA bascule bridges in the works? Maybe a version of the Kennebec Lift Bridge?

If creator agrees to create an exception for railway replacer, i dont see any issue on my end. RWY Replacer is not just a prop styler, it is also handling network replacement and wire parameters. Which is why I believe maintaining it independent is the best solution for both parties.

That aside, I'm eagerly waiting to have higher network limits since creator mentioned it will be likely next objective.

Since these wonderful rail network elements are requiring Railway Replacer, all those who are willing to change from old prop-mods to the new Prop Anarchy will fail to load them. Please try to ask to rewrite or get modified Railway Replacer or find a way to have compatibility with Prop Anarchy. Thank you.
