Olmendaal 1694, The Netherlands

Olmendaal is the sister of Boswijck.
I changed my previous model with a bit of other detail making it great for small towns.
The style of building would be seen more in woodland area's more inland. I found out that the color of shutters are linked to the time a former would be under the protection of a certain castle or landlord. Today you see them often as decoration.

@Nocoasterlimits the other house I uploaded is on the canal there. I also build the church, Im gonna upload it soon. The town is one of my new big inspirations! :-)

Wow, I love your creations! Maybe you can get some inspiration from the smallest city in Friesland. Sloten. This small city really has the perfect houses to recreate. :)
