This beam weapon has the ability to pierce enemies, allowing Samus to hit many enemies in a row with a single shot. In addition to this, Metroid Prime also gave it the ability to burn and incinerate its targets. This item is from the Metroid series, which belongs to Nintendo. Metroid Prime was developed by Retro Studios.

Well, I tried to get the gun to sit on the layer above the player's hand so you could see the whole gun, but weapons are automatically rendered underneath the player's arm, so those would get covered anyway. The gun is so small anyway that I thought the difference would be most noticeable if I colored the body of the gun. I know it's not actually like that in Metroid Prime.

colored the wrong part, i would color the yellow lines not the body of the gun.
