Wave Beam

This beam upgrade has had different properties depending on the game. In most of the 2D sidescrolling Metroid games, the Wave Beam increased the width of the beam, as well as allowing it to pass through walls. In Metroid Prime, it lost the ability to travel through walls, and instead gained electric damage and a slight homing ability. This item is from the Metroid series, which belongs to Nintendo. Metroid Prime was developed by Retro Studios.
