There was a pious woman in Oman named Salma. She was independent and provided her own livelihood by shepherding her sheep. One day an Arabian tiger ambushed the sheep and ate them all. She was angered and prayed for revenge. Seven meteors were sent from the heavens opening the holes in the walls of the cave. Seven meteors for her seven sheep.

The holes allowed light to enter this buried cave for the first time in eons. The Jinn living underground came out and wandered the Arabian deserts looking for the tiger. They hunted as many as they could leaving very few. The Arabian tiger is facing extinction.

The title is in Arabic, pronounced "Majlis al Jinn" means "The gathering of the Jinn".
