I'm no longer supporting this mod.
The mod is entirely in python.
If you have or know someone that has experience in the python programming language,
they might be able to make it work.
All my mod does is shuffle mods around on the disk, so that BLOPS 3
only sees the mods you want it to see. this is a workaround* for the game's 142 mod list limit.
If you don't have programming experience, you can do the same thing by hand, you just move the mods you don't want, out of the mods folder, then when you done playing make sure to put those mods back before steam thinks it needs to re-download them.
Best of Luck
Try running
"pip install setuptools"
(pip or pip3)
(if your on linux)
If that doesnt fix it, try
installing "python-setuptools"
via your package manager
dnf,apt,etc
No, as their files would conflict.
This wasn't designed to fix that issue.
This mod manager was designed to solve an issue that
occurs when you have more than ~142 mods downloaded/subscribed
blops3 won't show all the mods/maps.
With this mod manager, you can make sure that blops3
sees the mods/maps you want to play with.
Why write this program in Python?
Because
1. it was easier to write this program in Python
2. By writing the program in Python Script,
You can Review ALL of the code without needing any kind of de-compiler or special editor.
Just open Notepad, GEdit, Nano, Vim, etc and you can review the code
3. Not sure how you would do this in Black ops Mod Tools, plus you couldn't review that code if it was written in the mod tools.
Note: Any Black ops 3 mod, could contain a virus, and without the special Blops 3 editor, you'd never know
