GTA IV Style L4D2 Loading Screen (Main Menu Backgrounds)

描述
Changes all 5 main menu backgrounds to a GTA IV style loading screen with characters from L4D1 & 2.

1. Install GCFScape. This thing allows to read addon files. (https://valvedev. info/tools/gcfscape/)

2. Subscribe to addon, launch l4d2, wait until add-ons will load, close the game.

3. Go to directory \Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop.
(If you dont know where the game is located click library, left 4 dead 2, right click, properties, local files.)

4. Find the .vpk addon (you will see the right one, it goes with jpg thumb), right click, open with GCFScape. Extract the backgrounds.

5. Now go to Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\media, backup the original backgrounds then replace l4d2_background01-05.

Shame this could only be done the complicated way where you need to download stuff, rather than just uploading it to gamebanana or something and replacing the files in the game.

If you don't want to replace any original files, you could instead extract them to Left 4 Dead 2\update\media, which l4d2 will read from instead of the original files without overwriting. Makes uninstalling really easy.
