The second iteration of the Dagger was put together for the final two events on a server based on the performance of the mk1 in the previous 10 battles it was fielded in.

It became apparent that the biggest limiting factor for its battlefield endurance was the accumulative machine gun fire that would inevitably target the turrets and missile launchers. This rendered the main armament inoperable long before the rest of the ship took serious damage, so I made some modifications.

First off the front two turrets were removed and replaced with heavy armoured decoys with welders tucked in behind them to draw fire away from the weapons systems.

And secondly I lengthened the ship by one block and put welders in the core of the weapon sections. Since most ammo is stored in cargo containers right behind the rocket launchers, these welders extend the endurance of the ship by keeping the containers and launchers intact simultaneously.

This variant was only tested in two battles so far, but when able to dodge, it kept the main armament intact for a lot longer.

-Outdated as of warfare 2 update. Armour penetration and exploding fuel tanks make it obsolete.
