Took a long time to make this, so I hope you enjoy :)

Please read

This mod makes the weapons you hold appear lower and close to the chest. This helps with more awareness and really makes it easy with shooting from the hips and not having to ads a lot in close quarters.

Few console stuff to add so the weapons don't appear ridiculously close to you when you ads:

cl_ads_fov_scale 0.3

cl_ads_weapon_fov_scale 1.3

This mod was heavily inspired by what vapidscum did with his mod which in itself was inspired by psymod, so I suggest you check that out. Here's a lazy copy-paste edit from his description on what these console values actually do.

Available console values for "cl_ads_fov_scale":
0 = has no aim zoom
1 = is the max setting for aim zoom (any value in between works)

Available console values for "cl_ads_weapon_fov_scale":
0 = default, sights very close during ads
1 - 1.3 = custom settings for sights being drawn further away during ads (any value in between works)

I wanna say, this mod is really awesome and I absolutely appreciate it. Still works and surprisingly also works on sv_pure 2 servers that don't allow mods.

Also the commands are extremely helpful and also work in Day of Infamy!

Oh that's odd. I can't think of anything else besides unsubbing, clearing out your workshop folder, custom folder, and then reinstalling. After reinstalling I'd suggest copying this mod from the workshop folder to the custom.

workshop directory should look something like this:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\222880

and custom:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom

This looks exactly like what I want, however I can't seem to get it working.

When subscribed, and commands active as suggested, it will only show the expanded FOV when looking straight up or down. But not at normal view angles.
Got the same problem with other similar Mods.

Using all Mods from my S.I.M.P. collection, for reference.
Any assistance highly appreciated >.<
