ŌKM RRS and Ōkami Industries' first publicly available QuickMod.

The Mackerel Class is a small locomotive based off a basic design. ŌKM RRS took the design and adapted it into a more workable form.

The Mackerel class' defining feature is its size and shape.

The Mackerel currently has two electric versions - A narrow gauge and standard gauge variant.
The narrow gauge variant is based off the original design, while the standard gauge was made so the locomotive would not be restrained to narrow gauge railways.

The Mackerel uses a pantograph system, taken from its inspiration. The so-called 'Pantograph tower' was added to accommodate the pantograph, due to the locomotive's small size.

Electric Mackerels use a bogey system, specifically two sets of four wheels, just like its inspiration.

The Mackerel has two diesel mechanical variants, available in standard and narrow gauge.

The main diesel variant uses a 0-6-0 wheel system, and one of its defining features is the offset exhaust pipe. The 'Pantograph tower' in the diesel variant is repurposed as storage.
The diesel variant uses a V8 engine at the front of the locomotive.

The 'Flock engine' is a cow-calf type calf engine and uses a 0-4-0 wheel system. It has the same internal mechanisms as the main diesel variant, with the exception of the cabin, shortening the length of the locomotive. The 'Pantograph tower' was also removed, and the rear compartment was enlarged.

The Mackerel model was made to accommodate somewhat limited livery creation. A guide to the model's textures can be found in the image list above.
Stripe liveries are only available on S variants of models.
