you could, but i still want to keep a sense of realism, so just using pistols and explosives and it's not really an efficient fix if I have to use melee's in order to counter the fact you can't use pistols if oyu have a melee equipt

The addon works well, however if you have a melee weapon of any kind you won't get a pistol when you go down, making you practically defenseless
