Cordon — The cordon is a kind of dressing room for the Zone. Newbie stalkers are settling here, the first baptisms of fire take place. Some of the newcomers here and die: from anomalies, ambushes of bandits or military clusters. There are mutants at the location, but these are not their strongest representatives: wild boars, flesh and blind dogs. In an underground bunker outside the village, not far from the army checkpoint, there is a merchant - you can trade with him or take a paid job. In the south of the location there is a military checkpoint and soldiers should not be seen: they have an order to shoot without warning; on the other hand, some for money are ready to instantly grow kinder, especially if there is no bosses nearby.

Dump — A huge technical cemetery. After the accident, it was here that mountains of radioactive trash were brought. There are remnants of buildings, there are mutants. Here, as well as at the very perimeter, there are many newcomers, and bandits are spinning nearby, always looking for a piece fatter, and so that without much hassle. You can find a few artifacts, but it's better not to linger for a long time - there are more interesting places. If you go north, you will come to Bar; in the east - the passage to the Dark Valley; in the west - the road to the Agroprom Institute.

Darkscape — as it has been come to be known by stalkers, is an almost crescent moon-shaped valley that connects the larger Dark Valley and the Cordon. The valley has few anomalies and places to scavenge, only places to hide. After the military gave up control of the region, more insidious stalkers began to settle there. It is said that the 'dark stalkers' escaped here and hide alongside bandits and renegades with bounties on their heads. Many stalkers tend to avoid the valley, both because there are few attractions, and because many of those who don't are not seen on the other side.
