描述
Not sure if my game is corrupted (even though I verified the files recently) or the recent update broke the texture. This error can be seen in Crash Course and Fall in Death by CastorJudo.

bridge_ironwork_02.vtf is probably a higher quality version of bridge_ironwork_01.vtf.

Fixes:
Error reading material data "materials/models/props_street/psds/bridge_ironwork_02.vtf"

Everything in this mod is edited by me.
Credit to Valve and The Last Stand dev team for the material file.

Do not reupload this mod.

It could be a mod that changed that material, I have never ever had this issue in the last 8 years.

I never had this issue when playing the map so I don't think I will need this for now but I will sub to it just in case I do

custom maps are definitely a cause... because I looked into the files for the Last Stand update and i couldn't open the broken texture file

then again, it might be just that specific texture somehow got corrupted

basically the fix for me is that i got rid of the custom map that caused it and things return to normal.

Most likely a custom map overwriting the files with a mismatched earlier version, which was for me the cause of untextured tree branches in Dark Carnival.
Also Cold Stream is unsalvageable no matter what after Last Stand Update i always see untextured trees.

Good fix for people who have that issue. However, the bridge looks normal in my game. It might be that your game is corrupted and the file verification isn't picking it up.
