MercTechV2 is a complete overhaul for Mechwarrior 5.

CURRENTLY WILL NOT WORK WITH VERSION 1.1.323 (DLC #3 Call to Arms Update). You must revert back to 1.1.315 for MercTechV2 to work.

The mod is currently being rewritten to update it for DLC #3 as well as fixing co-op and other bugs.

NOTE: Co-op is currently hit-or-miss due to synchronization issues. Currently working the issue.

Overview:
Fully unlocked mechlab
Ammo management system
6 different damage models to choose from
Global and Enemy damage modifiers
Workbench used to disassemble, upgrade, repair, and refurbish weapons
Weapon Degradation mode (toggle-able) - weapons degrade over use, can be refurbished at the weapon workbench
Missiles are individual components now, instead of flying in a pattern like stock, each one will find its own course. This allows Swarm missiles
Weapon Attachments - Weapons can have components attached to them (Artemis, Capacitors) without the need to buy a new weapon with it
Melee weapons - Maces, Swords, Hatchets, and Vibroblades can be equipped to mechs with hands.
Combined with Cockpit Glass, head hits will crack and break the glass.

Much more features are added but Steam does not provide enough room.

No, the game was updated too heavily after this. MercTech - Lite works with the current version and will be the main one as things are added. It features frankenmech system and the Mechwarrior 4 weapon bay system.

So there is solaris dlc coming. I knew that. But I think they announced a clan dlc late last year as well. So don't count on the solaris dlc to be the last.

It's on their MWO site that DLC 6 is going to be announced soon. They told the modders back in November another was coming. I kind of stopped doing major work until this DLC comes out, which should be the last. I've been instead working on the Lite version that will use weapon bays like MW4, you can replace a large laser with 4 small lasers or 2 medium lasers instead of just 1 hardpoint per weapon. Also working on limb swapping, so you can put Archer legs on a Catapult. Mainly its a test for how Omni-Mechs will work as well.

MW5 has another DLC coming? I thought Clans was a stand alone....guess i missed somthing
