2528- Operation Pushback begins, the UNSC has identified planets held by the Covenant and coordinate MAC and Nuclear strikes on their outer colonies.
2030 - Using coordinates captured by NAVSPECWAR, the UNSC find a Covenant planet (Gliese 581) being used as a forward staging area for attacks on Harvest and the outer colonies. ONI also believes the minerals and resources on the planet are being used for plasma production and arms manufacturing.
Operation Gladius has been approved as a full scale invasion of the planet to take the fight back to enemy soil.

Your objective is to lead a small Marine Recon unit to destroy AA positions preventing the Heron Base transports from landing in your designated sector.
