Stock DCB build.

P-51 Mustang (early) built to scale. featuring adjustable pitch prop (inc reverse thrust), retractable landing gear and flaps. and a blade pitch indicator on the fuselage.

using 4 jets to power the propeller, thrust is controlled by adjusting the blade pitch. Pitch, roll and yaw by the elevators, ailerons and rudder.

behind the pilot is the blade pitch indicator - 3 black lines and 1 grey line - the black lines indicate full forward, zero thrust and full reverse pitch.
the grey line is minimum flying pitch.

Speed in mainly controlled by the blade pitch, propeller torque by the jets.

Blade pitch is better than the wheel brakes at stopping the aircraft safely after landing.
