Milk Dragon

描述
Brings mythical Milk Dragons, and dragon milk into Rimworld.

A rare ranch Animal that can be captured for a good long lasting food source.



This mod does not support the 1.4 Version of Rimworld. why do the work when someone did it for you

Wanted to try the New 1.6 Flying Animations and thought there would be no better chance than with a creature that already has wings. so in this latest update this weird dragon can now fly with separate animation frames for caravan gear or not. Do let me know if the frames are off, had to use a custom non-generative framework splicing each direction one by one.

The dragons can currently be found in less biomes now, with a 0.002 Chance for most, More rare biomes from Odyssey have a 0.005 chance.

They Can currently Spawn in:

  • Temperate Forest
  • Boreal Forestl
  • Arid Shrubland
  • Tropical Rainforest
  • Cold Bog
  • Ice Sheet
  • Lava Field
  • Grasslands
  • Glowforest

The dragons are showing as a pen animal in my game...? They're trainable for attacking and hauling which is functionally useless if they need to be in pens.

I have the tiniest bit of feedback on the graphic: maybe it would be worth it to place the eyes a little bit further apart on the adult south-facing dragon -- I noticed its eyes are closer to each other than the juvenile's eyes. Or maybe just rotate the eyes a little bit so that they are at the same angle as the juvenile's eyes. Other than that I absolutely love it!

Apparently, they changed how the cheese making process mechanics in vanilla cooking expanded so I can no longer make dragon cheese in the cheese press. They changed cheese into being a single item with the graphic changing depending of the milk used to make said cheese.

yes i believe it does have caravan items! i was just seeing if it was a common issue or an issue on my end. thanks for replying so quickly :]

@こんにちは when that happens does the dragons have caravan items? there is a known glitch within the game where flying animations glitch out when it has a caravan its on the bug-tracking forum but I suppose a temporary fix would be to make an option to turn off flying animations for the time as a mod option if you would like.

anyone else have the problem of the dragon randomly doubling in size while in combat? it only lasts a few seconds but it looks quite weird and i was wondering if there was a fix

Those are the first one i though of because of the Milk-Dragons resemblance to the Dragons from Dragons Decend. Dragon Genetics is a Mod Combining Features from Dragons Decent and Vanilla Genetics Expanded.

Another one that would be mega cool is DragonBond which is a Dragons Decent expansion that lets Pawns bond with Dragons, giving diffrent buffs depending on the kind of Dragon. And it also adds Factions Worshiping Specific kinds of Dragons.

If you want to put in that amount of Work, making a Milk-Dragon Faction (Maybe Tribal/Maybe Noble House) would be pretty poggers.

If you want to give your Dragon Extra Abilities, you can also look to Dragons Decent for things like Fire Breath and short range flight. But these peacefull seeming Milk-Dragons might fit better with abilities like a Healing Aura/Pulse or maybe buffing other Dragons around them.

@Virtuous No, it is more in line with a thrumbo bodytype than any other dragon although Could add compatibility with that when I get back. if ya have more ideas on things im all ears.
