Beachview Island - HL1 styled map (gm_beachview_island)

(WORK IN PROGRESS, V1 OF THE MAP) (updates will be halted because im busy with exams!)

With the success of my other map made a month ago, gm_canyon_dam, ive decided to make a larger, more open type map, with its vast and open waters and its amazing sandy beaches, its stylized hl1 theme never fails to look this nice in the source engine, with over 50 custom textures, custom skybox and a fire custom tracklist for the disco, it creates a nostalgic feel to the map.
Taking reference from many games, from the far cry series to the classic half life franchise, ive used these ideas to manufacture the base to my map, since its a hl1 / goldsrc styled map, ive had to stick to some restrictions.

they where to
- not to use cubemaps (i might use in the future idk yet)
- not to use displacements (all the terrain created was made out of brushes, making the process alot longer)
- not to use props / custom content other then textures and sounds.

for being such a massive sandbox map, there was alot of detail i could fit in.
such as buildings / places on the map which are included are.

- 2 main islands and another 2 in the outer map
- massive body of water, (air-boat is really fun to ride around with)
- a small village / town
- radio tower
- wooden bridge
- hidden disco / easter egg
- lighthouse
- plenty of tents / boxes / barrels around the map (boxes and barrels are destructible)
- alot of palm and pine trees, which fits with the style
- 2 docks for your boats
- ai nodes, (80 percent of the map is ai noded)
- a plethora amount of windows to smash / destroy
- many custom brush props (sticking to goldsrc restrictions)
- shipwreck
- underground cave / mineshaft
- two way elevator / bunker

Basically a source map with nice lighting and water but with goldsrc styled textures, which was such a blast to create and make, without the help from my supporters and the hammer discord community, i wouldnt have the motivation to complete my map.
