The reason that it causes unintended changes is because of the change to the Rod of Discord sounds, if it was only the loud sound from using pylons/teleportation potions/magic mirrors or teleporters it would be perfect. I tried it but that detail kinda ruins it since a lot of weapons reuse that Rod of Discord sound.
