[IN] Imperial Battleship Kit

Imperial battleships are the largest warships ever fielded by the Imperium. A somewhat generic term, battleship classes can vary from the standard 8km-long line ships of the imperial navy, to the 20+ km long gloriana class that led the legion fleets during the height of the great crusade. Once the backbone of the navy, their dwindling numbers have relegated them to the role of flagships of the far more common cruiser fleets.

Armed to the teeth and protected with multiple layers of void shielding and armor plating, very few sector fleets can count more than one or two of the ancient vessels among their number. The building of new ships of the class is a tremendously slow process, due to the large amount of resources and advanced technological know-how needed, something only a few forge worlds can muster.


This kit allows you to build any of the 5 “standard” battleships of battlefleet gothic. From the more common Emperor and Retribution, to the rarer Apocalypse and Oberon, to the even less common Nemesis fleet carrier. Simply cut the desired modules from the blueprint (removing the pink blocks) and then copy paste them, aiming at the red blocks. If for some inconceivable reason you wish to build one of these 38k block leviathans in survival, i recomend you assemble the desired ship in creative mode from the kit and then build a blueprint of that.

Interiors are complete and fully functional, including reactor chambers, ship chappel, bridge, engineering sections, torpedo magazines, nova cannon loading room, etc.

The ship is slow to accelerate and manouver, and its firepower, while great, is probably nothing compared to the turret farm you could make with this amount of steel. But thats for orks.

The "lance" turrets use rdavs easy turret script. Recompile the programable block when you finish assembly to make them work.


Ship is fully vanilla (deciding what mods to use generally just ends with me deciding nothing and publishing nothing), but i would recomend some shield mod and one of those new shiny gun mods out there if you want to mod it.

With this monster out the only things remaining are escorts, who are so tiny at this scale is dubious will have any interior of note, and might be all published in a single kit.
