Cyclocopter Aircraft - The Flying H

A cycloidal rotary wing aircraft, 2 jets per rotor to spin them. Pitch, roll and yaw controlled by blade angle.

Works similar to flying a helicopter. but easier to fly

T - start / stop rotors
W S - up / down collective ( adjust blade angle and release )
A D - Yaw
Q E - side strafe ( not that good )

8 5 - Pitch
4 6 - Roll

Yaw and side strafe do not work if the collective is set at zero
The higher the collective, the greater the yaw rate

pressing Q & D or E & A together may result in mechanical failure

this is version 3 of my attempts to get this to work. Version 1 had the rotors mounted front and rear, but this had trouble getting over 10 mph. Version 2 had the rotors mounted on the sides ( like V.3 ) but had control issues due to the rotors spinning the same direction. Version 3 has a drive shaft turning through 180 degrees to keep the counter rotating rotors at the same speed.
