LOME -- The Lord of the Rings Legacy Campaign

The LOTR "Legacy" campaign is a compilation of all of Liquid Fire Studios' original campaigns based on the LOTR trilogy. This body of work was what the mod was originally created to create, and was developed from 2003-2011, and published some time in early 2012. For a very long time, the workshop version has not acknowledged them in an official capacity, since I believe they are vastly outdated, and do not accurately represent the power the mod is capable of. However, out of popular request, they have been neatly compiled into one epic campaign!


Join Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, Frodo, and other members of the Fellowship as they embark on their epic quest to destroy the One Ring, and vanquish the evil Sauron for all time!

Journey across the Shire, and the Broken Northern Kingdom to Rivendell! Fight trolls in the depths of Moria, combat Saruman's growing Uruk-Hai army at Helm's Deep! And defend Gondor from Sauron's endless Orc hordes throughout your journeys in The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King!


From RPG levels, to Survival, to Strategy, test your skills throughout the campaign as the level types regularly switch up to keep you ready for anything!



The campaigns exactly as your remember them:

Bear in mind that these campaigns have seen little to NO updating since bringing them to the workshop. The term "legacy" largely implies that I will not be putting any time or energy into possibly fixing any bugs with these campaigns; I would much rather focus on creating new campaigns from scratch.

Many of these levels are close to, or over 15 years old, and use a lot of "classic" (otherwise known as OLD) design tactics and tricks. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ALMOST ANY OF THESE LEVELS -- so if you comment asking me how to beat any given level, I will not have an answer for you.

ROTK has several missing levels, namely the "Siege of Gondor" sections. These were simply never finished by the team, and I only have the massively unfinished levels for them.

For Bug Reporting, please use the BUG REPORTS THREAD. I cannot guarantee I will ever update or fix bugs, but I would prefer the bugs do all get catalogued into one space.
