This addon is based uppon https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=194541565&searchtext=ebony+ivory
made by https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/id/tiggorech, and such credits go to the respective owners of the materials and code.

Similar to the Titanfall Smart Pistol, this version of Ebony and Ivory tries to make a decent resemblance of the original behavior that the weapon used to have along the Devil May Cry series.


As for the new features:

-Removed the zoom function (felt unnecessary).

-Balanced Damage.

-If the Reload Key is being held, press mouse1 (left mouse button) to fire a burst of 3 shots; otherwise press mouse2 (right mouse button) to fire a powerfull bullet dealing almos ten times the average damage. (Resembling Gunslinger in Devil May Cry 5).

-The secondary attack (without the Reload Key pressed), now the weapon will fire dual shots and your walk speed also would be set to 0. (Resembling HoneyComb shots in Devil May Cry 5).
(TO RESTORE THE WALK SPEED JUST FIRE WITH THE PRIMARY ATTACK, (LEFT MOUSE))

-The secondary attack (without the Reload Key pressed), plus the movement keys (W,A,S,D by default) would turn your head in the respective direction (your movement speed will be 0 as for the secondary attack), and the weapon will lock on nearby enemies, compensating for not being able to fire with the freecamera. (Resembling Twosome Time from Devil May Cry 2, to 5).

(Actually this is still on beta, leave your suggestions on how this could be improved).

(BE AWARE that if you spam the movement keys there would be an uncontrollable cycle trhough the multiple directions, and it could cause dizziness over time, you are at your own risk).


-Now you can fire this weapon at anytime with a new console command (similar to how you are able in the entire saga), just copy and paste this on the console (to open it press F10, by default):

bind (your key) dmcgun (replace "your key" with any that you desire)

Example-> bind b dmcgun (now "b" will activate the weapon and as soon as you press it, it will fire one time and go back to your previous weapon).



Note: I do believe that both versions of the addon can coexist.

@TThe Dark Knight Master Chief i am not able to make the c_hands out ogf this addon, the viewmodel is already attached to the arms (you can even see your "real" arms if you modify the camera out of bounds). Besides I do not think that my basic Lua knowledge, plus my non existant animation and model manipulation skill would help creating another version.

The only thing that would help, a Dante Playermodel indeed.
