Railway 2 is a brand new network package which is packed with numerous new features, while maintaining the existing features of original Railway 1 project. It also brings new types of networks such as quads and mainlines. Check Railway 2 Guide in the collection, linked above.

Hell Gate
The Hell Gate Bridge, originally the New York Connecting Railroad Bridge or the East River Arch Bridge, is a 1,017-foot (310 m) steel through arch railroad bridge in New York City. Originally built for four tracks, the bridge currently carries two tracks of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor and one freight track across the Hell Gate, a strait of the East River, between Astoria in Queens, and Randalls and Wards Islands in Manhattan.

Bridge was the inspiration for various projects around the world; Tyne Bridge Newcastle and Sydney Harbor Bridge in Australia were in fact derived designs from Hell Gate.

Hell Gate for Cities: Skylines is the result of a collaboration between me and Armesto. I handled steel structure of the bridge complex, and Armesto handled the stonework; pillars and bridge tower, as well as the color correction of variants. Geze also handled the wooden plank texture correction.


  • Pack of 2 networks:
  • Viaduct network: Contains the ground abutment and node switches with other networks. Elevated, nodeless viaduct network.
  • Bridge network: Contains the main arch on bridge prefab and transition networks on elevated prefab.
  • Uses the power of Adaptive Roads for in-game customization.
  • Part of Railway 2: USA expansion, that features accurate rail profile, 1:1 scaled wire height and many more features.


All Hell Gate networks recycle textures and materials between each other. Pillars also have shared texture and material properties for optimization.


Comes as electrified networks. Use Network Skins to disable wires on-dragging, or Catenary Replacer to cancel wires map-wide. Part of RAILWAY project, thus requires Railway Replacer to customize track props.

I literally thought this was the Sydney harbour bridge but red

It would be good to have a version of this with the European standard wire height to look realistic with more of the available rolling stock on the workshop

You can of course connect 4 lane to 2 lane tracks. You can do that on ground or elevated level of elevated network.

But since this is CSL, junction mechanics are limited if you're using no mods, you will need the help of Node Controller and NMT mods to make it. Essentially once you connect 2x 2 lane tracks, you push them sideways with node controller, then continue with 2x 2 lane networks as you wish.

is there no way to use the full 4 tracks as it seems you cant connect the 2 lane tracks to it and be able to connect to all four tracks. i could just put two tracks side by side but it wouldnt look as good
