The Tazmaniac

Before assuming his most famous (and still current) gimmick, Taz wrestled on the indies and for Eastern Championship Wrestling as The Tazmaniac.

The Tazamaniac held the ECW Tag Team titles with Kevin Sullivan at the same time he held the ECW Television Championship, briefly becoming a double champion. He had a shot at the NWA World Haveyweight Title in 1994, but came up short.

In 1995, a serious neck injury shelved The Tazmaniac. Shortly after his return several months later, the gimmick evolved into Taz.
