Akagi Class Gunboat

The Akagi class of gunboats were a series of four, pre-dreadnaught naval gunboats built for the Japanese Navy during the 1880s. The Akagi itself was used throughout the various wars between Japan and China, as well as the Russo-Japanese War, where it was a support vessel during the Siege of Port Arthur. The ship as presented here is relatively small, but is heavily armed (for the time period at least), with four 120mm guns. It's quite capable as a support vessel for destroyers and heavy ships.
