South Shore Line

The South Shore Line is an electrically powered interurban commuter rail line operated by the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD) between Millennium Station in downtown Chicago and the South Bend International Airport in South Bend, Indiana.

This train is modeled after the single level EMU cars operated by The South Shore Line built by Nippon Shrayo. These were built in the early 1980s and are still in use today on the line.

This company is special as it is one of the last interurban railroads left in the country still operating and I was glad I got to model them.

How to Use

Train functions as a regular passenger train but due to the height of the pantograph you will need to use the new Railway 2 network sets for the Pantograph to contact the wires properly in game.

Any chance of an update for this? It's my favorite commuter train but the disappearing first car with the floating lights is really jarring.

Any one who's reported the reverse issues don't worry it is on my list just been kinda a weird couple months so I haven't gotten to much.

I'm having the same issue as @Evil.Iguana. When the train reverses directions, the last (or first? hard to tell) car disappears, but the red marker lights remain. When the train reaches the other end of the line and reverse back to the original direction, the car reappears.

Seems like the rear carriage disappears when the train reverses. Anyone else have this issue?

@outkult, we'll see I have a lot on my to do list but those look nice
