The weapong being invisible is a common issue with other scripts causing the "active weapon" to be switched quickly (bsmod, quick knives, etc) and as the "active weapon" returns to the original (the smart pistol), the viewmodel bugs visually and requires you to re-equip the weapon entirelly. Sadly this bug is extremelly random and cannot be fixed within the SWEP (to my basic lua understanding).
Asides from the previous concern, the viewmodel as a whole was not made by me, all the 3d assets are from the Titanfall game and ported by the original creator, because of this detail, I was limited to using the weapon with the "fake pilot suit" as part of the weapon in first person.
If you want the weapon to be exclusive to your playermodel, I highly recommend using a third person camera to later adjust the position to be inside the player´s head. Furthermore you will have the additional "fix".
GIB (Classic Bullet), .22LR (Smallest round, sacrafices damage for extreme ammo in the mag), 5mm (More ammo in the mag), 10mm (Basic, holds less than 5mm), 13mm ANTI-FREAK (Pierces Armor and can nearly one shot anything at the cost of only holding 6 rounds), SEEKER-12 (12 bullets fired for the price of one that seek everything in the reticle), SEEKER-66 (Fires 66 bullets for the price of one that seek everything in the reticle, like a SAM launcher that fires bullets), SMART Rocket (Fires miniature anti vehicle rockets that once locked onto an enemy do not need guidance), and finally 72X32CZ (Anti Tank rifle single round breach action. This is the equivalent to a Tank Shell with one main purpose: destroying any armored vehicle. This ammo was popularized in the show Hellsing Ultimate from the Harkonnen Cannon, which is basically a rifle taken STRAIGHT off a tank.)
Maybe even make a TFA version? In TFA, I have recoil disabled or at least mitigated to near zero. Imagine it having several smart modes based on TFA scripting?
Only weakpoints, Only Headshots, Only Torso Shots, Only Left Leg, Only Right Leg, Only Right Leg, Only left arm, Only Right arm.
