What are the feelings when you have had a nightmare? We wake up with a start, we tremble, we cry, we have a feeling "cold" but also we scream. The inspiration of this MP9 takes precisely on this last point: the scream.



It took a very visible skin and having looked at most of the skins already accepted in the game, the skins already have very bright colors that are part of the "classified" category. Which complicated the work and the research a bit.

White is for me the most vivid color in the game. So I went in that direction. It was then necessary to transcribe "the scream". I was inspired by the poster of the new mutants (Marvel movie) and I wanted to reproduce this effect enclosed with a shadow play. I tried several solutions: make the faces in 3D and add a fabric effect on them? (does not work), draw them by hand and play with a handkerchief on the shadows, (does not work either). So I stopped this trail which is a shame because it is very promising but very difficult to achieve.



So I focused on making the faces in pencil on paper, which I then scanned and then vectorized. The rest came afterwards by playing with the elements of the weapon. We find the double face on the "viewfinder" part. The character gives the impression that he is screaming. He has an inspirational suit on the legendary "Slenderman". A "pearlescent" effect is found taking up the idea of Printstream's secret type skins.
