A compact and reliable sub that can handle long term missions and campaigns with ease. Although lacking in firepower, its good combination of decoys, mobile drone and pulse lasers can deal with almost any hostile forces.

How to play
A high tech, compact and reliable vessel, the Imp is capable of serving a good captain well in both single missions and full campaigns. Featuring a full suite of crafting facilities, reasonable cargo for its size, a drone and decent firepower, it's designed to function well for most tasks while having minimal crew on board.

That said, be wary of several blind spots in the bottom (a problem that can be alleviated by installing another laser in the hardpoint) and an efficient but high-maintenance engine.

Author's notes
Made for those who want a do-it-all sub to play with a small number of people while not feeling overpowered. The drone contains a shelf with crates that can help with diving missions.

Thanks, glad you like it! And yeah, the drone pathing has always been a bit wonky. I remember updating it several times over with some success, might do another pass one of these days.

Decided to do a permadeath run using 3 of your subs. The bots have issues going into the minisub and get stuck on the transition, so the waypoints could use some work. Other than that, this was a fun sub. I really like the layout.

Ah, the Imp and its signature central "diving board." Our campaign version was empty up front, which we ended up enjoying as a unique crawler trap and space for some personal touches. Our final mission with this beast, the drone ran out of battery and landed on the front of the main sub in just the right way to block the door, while everyone was of course outside the sub without a plasma cutter!

Our favorite sub we've ever used, by the best submaker in the Citadel - thanks for all your great work Arch!

Ok, I think it's fixed (mostly, bots still get confused trying to fix the drone's lower hull, but they CAN do it); unfortunately the sub doesn't get updated mid-campaign.
