Continents-Pelego Map Script

描述
This map script attempts to create a diverse map with both large continents and plenty of smaller island chains.
Features:
- The largest continent on the map will be is between 50 and 60 percent of the total land area
- Lots of island chains
- Unlike the original Continents Plus script, city states are not forced to spawn on the island chains
- Option to stop the spawning of island chains in the central rift (Atlantic) between the continents (to encourage the need for astronomy)

This is a custom map script I whipped up a while ago to fit my tastes. I am super happy with it and, after using it for the past few months, I've decided to put it on the workshop.

I always liked to have civs isolated two or three continents in my games, but I found the continents map script to be too symmetrical and boring and the fractal map script doesn't separate continents consistently. I really liked the idea of the continents plus map script from the explorer's map DLC. Getting astronomy and exploring the ocean and other continents is one of my favorite parts of Civ. For me though, continents plus has some problems:

1. almost all of the island chains are settled by city-states, leaving less to explore/settle and leaving too few city-states on the mainland

2. Not enough island chains. I wanted enough islands to simulate the island-hopping in the WWII Pacific theater, or the experience discovering and settling the Caribbean islands.

What I have now is a heavily edited version of the Continents Plus script, with a lot more islands, better city state placement, and earth-like continents. With all the islands spawning though, the continents could often be reached before astronomy by sailing along the island chains. I kinda liked this feature, but I still wanted the continents mostly isolated before astronomy, so now there is an option to disable spawning island chains in the middle of the map's "Atlantic" ocean. The result is a map with lots of diverse terrain and many interesting places to settle and explore.

Use the "empty atlantic" setting in the world options in the advanced setup screen. It's set to true by default, set it to false to enable island spawning in the Atlantic.

How does one disable or enable the islands in the Atlantic?
