Fort's Insectoid armor

Adds Equipments made of Insectoid corpses.

Since it uses Apparel hediff which implemented for blindfold in 1.3, it'll only work in 1.3.

NPC factions including Raiders can spawned with insect equipment.


The Armor/Helmet below can be crafted in crafting spot, and smithing table.
Requires no research.
If you have ideology, and have Precept: insectoid meat lover. those mood debuffs from Armor/helmet will have additional mood buff.

Now Precept : taming insectoid:loved, and Precept : Insectoid slaughter : abhorrent on improved insectoid mod will get additional mood buff too.
Now unavailable on 1.4, Still able to use on 1.3 by the way

Megaspider Armor : Requires 1 Megaspider.
+ High protection similar to platearmor
+ Less slow movespeed debuff(-0.53) compare tor platearmor(-0.8)
+ minor Negotiation Ability buff
- minor Social impact debuff
- mood debuff when worn(-3)
- 65% durability of platearmor

Megaspider Helmet : Requires 1 Megaspider.
+ High protection similar to simple helmet
+ Less slow movespeed debuff(-0.53) compare tor platearmor(-0.8)
+ minor Negotiation Ability buff
- minor Social impact debuff
- mood debuff when worn(-2)
- 75% durability of simple helmet



Megascythe - Requires Longsword research.
Can be crafted at Smithing table.
1 Megaspider Corpse, 75 Metallic or Woody resources. 6 Crafting skill to craft.
+ High cut damage with its blade

Macecarab
Can be crafted at Smithing table, Crafting spot.
1 Megascarab Corpse, 35 Metallic or Woody resources. 3 Crafting skill to craft.
+ Medium blunt damage with its head
+ Edible weapon

Spearlopede - Requires Longsword research.
Can be crafted at Smithing table, Crafting spot.
1 Spelopede Corpse, 45 Metallic or Woody resources. 4 Crafting skill to craft.
+ Medium Stab damage with its point
+ High armor penetration

Megaskarambit
Can be crafted at Smithing table, Crafting spot.
1 megascarab Corpse, 10 Metallic resources.
+ Deflect Cut attacks with its blade

Scarabow - Requires Greatbow research.
Can be crafted at Smithing table, Crafting spot.
1 each Corpses of Megaspider, Megascarab, Spelopede, and 25 Wood Log.
+ does a high arrow damage
