USCSS Prometheus

描述
This is a version of the USCSS Prometheus. The author of the original model i use to make this Space Engine mod is Russell Tawn (aka Digitawn aka Rustythe1), who posted this model for free in his website. If you are interested in the original model just google Russell Tawn Prometheus.

The ship have two interior places: the bridge (the two levels) and the cargo pod, inside the ship... I replaced some colours of the original model and do something to texture the bridge (the original model, if it is downloaded doesn't have the same incredible look of the wallpaper the author use to promote the model, at least not the fbx version, that i used to make this mod. This one needed changes in order to load it into Space Engine.

Can take some time to load the ship. In a medium pc, in worst cases, one or two minutes. The thrusters and cameras are configured with the tool provided by Space Engine to do this. Screen design by freepik.

One suggestion to improve fps is delete all the unnecessary internal polygons. The entire retractable loading bay and some escape pod thing near the back are all rendered internally, but are absolutely useless in SE. So far, all your other ships are fine fps wise.

This is one of my favorite ships of all time! Just need to make it more navigable when exploring a planet in the air, I can't quite find the right settings to either keep it from crashing into the planet or flying off into space and I've tried every possible combination of main engine and hover engine speeds....maybe use the Watcher of the Skies Vanguard settings because that ship flies very well through the atmosphere (but that ship needs the blue warp files that the Prometheus has to get the same special warp effects.)

Wow I've been waiting for someone to make this ship for ages! Looks great but I'm afraid it absolutely tanks my FPS. I'm usually around 90 but when I load this ship it drops to 18. Suppose it's time to upgrade my old GeForce 1070, that is if it was possible to actually find new graphics cards. :/
